Mass Vision Inc., a supplier of wholesale sunglasses based in Rochester, NY, has made several changes that make selecting and ordering easier and more cost effective for retailer buyers. “We’ve obtained a new domain name and redesigned our website to make navigation and the checkout process more user friendly,” says Anthony Masiello, owner. “In addition, we’re offering better discounts and some special vouchers to our customers,” he adds. For every $25 a buyer spends, the retailer gets a voucher good for 25 cents off any future order. A buyer who refers another customer to the company’s website gets a $5 voucher. Furthermore, buyers who place an order on their birthday automatically get a $10 voucher.
That’s not all. Mass Vision is offering a 10 percent discount on orders between $500 and $999. Orders that total $1,000 to $1,999 receive a 15 percent discount, and orders totaling more than $2,000 obtain a 20 percent discount. “The discounts are on top of any vouchers the buyers have received in the past,” Masiello says. “When they check out, the deduction is automatically taken from the total order.”
Mass Vision typically has more than 1,100 styles of sunglasses in inventory, and all are shown on the website. “We’ve added categories, which makes it easier for retailers to go directly to the styles and price points they want,” Masiello says. “Retailers can order online, and we’ve now added PayPal as another payment option,” he notes. Sunglasses are sold by the dozen. Other than that, there is no minimum. The least expensive styles wholesale for $16 a dozen of the same style in assorted colors. “The average wholesale,” he says, “is between $22 and $24 a dozen.”
Among the most currently popular styles, he reports, are designs that replicate the Ed Hardy, Coach, DG and Baby Phat brands. These can be bought in a mixed dozen containing 12 different styles, in the particular look a like design. Mass Vision also offers, “the ultimate mix,” which includes three to four units each of different designs. These mixed dozens wholesale for $32 a dozen, and the average retail price is $10 a pair.

Abstract Art
October 7th, 2009 by massvisionincAbstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. Western art had been, from the Renaissance up to the middle of the 19th century, underpinned by the logic of perspective and an attempt to reproduce an illusion of visible reality. The arts of cultures other than the European had become accessible and showed alternative ways of describing visual experience to the artist. By the end of the 19th century many artists felt a need to create a new kind of art which would encompass the fundamental changes taking place in technology, science and philosophy. The sources from which individual artists drew their theoretical arguments were diverse, and reflected the social and intellectual preoccupations in all areas of Western culture at that time.
Abstract art, nonobjective art, and nonrepresentational art, are loosely related terms. They are of similar, although perhaps not identical meaning.
Abstraction indicates a departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art. This departure from accurate representation can be only slight, or it can be partial, or it can be complete. Abstraction exists along a continuum. Even art that aims for verisimilitude of the highest degree can be said to be abstract, at least theoretically, since perfect representation is likely to be exceedingly elusive. Artwork which takes liberties, altering for instance color and form in ways that are conspicuous, can be said to be partially abstract. Total abstraction bears no trace of any reference to anything recognizable. In geometric abstraction, for instance, one is unlikely to find references to naturalistic entities. Figurative art and total abstraction are almost mutually exclusive. But figurative and representational (or realistic) art often contains partial abstraction.
Both Geometric abstraction and Lyrical Abstraction are often totally abstract. Among the very numerous art movements that embody partial abstraction would be for instance fauvism in which color is conspicuously and deliberately altered vis-a-vis reality, and cubism, which blatantly alters the forms of the real life entities depicted.

Canvas Art - “The Scream”
October 3rd, 2009 by massvisionincThis famous painting titled “The Scream” was painted by Edvard Munch in 1893, and then again in 1910. I can easily say that this work or art is one of my favorite famous paintings of all time. Many reproductions have been made of this piece, and it is a very popular seller as a print or as a canvas art reproduction. Many art theorists say that the person depicted is not screaming at all, but expressing his feelings of shock and awe at the horror of what is going on around him. I guess we’ll never really know what has him so mortified.

Wall Art - Things Change
October 3rd, 2009 by massvisionincAbstract Art forms has indeed fascinated many art lovers for their intricate themes, subjective interpretation and intriguing plots. There could be nothing more interesting than to puzzle out the meaning in an abstract wall art or draw one’s own conclusions therein. Things Change is one such abstract art with a simple enough caption but with a very complicated theme. This art is captivating not merely for the objects that are included in there but also for its unique color scheme that too adds a dimension to its interpretation. Glowing spheres, gold and silver spirals, mystery orbs, abstract musical notations, gold and silver rings and flowers that are depicted in this art work is suggestive of so many things. The colors burgundy, black and silver complement each other to bring out a resplendent image. Has the artist in this work of art put together random images from his imagination or is there something more to it - it is for the viewer to perceive. This stylish wall art is sure to add sophistication to a living room and enhance the overall beauty of the home decor.

Abstract Art- Soothing Solitude
September 28th, 2009 by massvisionincSoothing Solitude at www.usacanvasart.com is a very charming wall art that is painted in lovely earth tones of yellow, green, brown and black. A phosphorescent green rectangular tablet placed at the center of the canvas adds an ethereal glow and luminescence to this painting. The glow from the green block seems to spread over and light up the surroundings in a glorious halo. The bright sulfur yellow contrast magnificently with the radiant green to give this charming wall art a dazzling and visually pleasing effect. What adds to the aura of this painting are the characters perhaps in an Asian language in thin and stylishly calligraphed black brush brushstrokes. This modern art could well be a good luck symbol to be placed on the walls of a house or any enterprise to bring forth good luck and prosperity. It could also be a stylish piece of abstract art with mysterious symbols painted on it merely to attract many eyes. Whatever be it this is indeed a very attractive wall art and is well suited for living rooms in apartments or on the walls of offices.
